HPower Group, a global BAFTA award-winning event, equestrian venue consultancy and production company, seeks a dynamic CEO to lead and expand its operations.

The Group creates and manages sporting, military and national commemorative and celebratory events worldwide. In equestrian venue consultancy, the Group provides a specialist consultancy service for a variety of live events. The role will be mentored by the founder, Simon Brooks-Ward, who will transition to Chairman.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and profitability across global markets.
  • Business Development: Identify and secure new business opportunities, partnerships, and clients, particularly in international markets.
  • Event Management: Annual events, including the Royal Windsor Horse Show, and the annual London International Horse Show in the UK plus a variety of additional events internationally
  • Market Expansion: Drive the company’s expansion into new markets, with a focus on the Far East where events such as the Hong Kong International Horse Show are hosted. Also, to contribute a lead to new initiatives. 
  • Commercial Viability: To oversee the commercial imperatives of the company, including the sponsorship, hospitality, retail units and public admissions. This involves strong relationship management with key clients
  • Operational Oversight: Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of events and services.
  • Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and performance to meet financial goals.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, sponsors, and partners.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor a diverse, established and well-respected team. Maintaining and growing the culture of excellence and innovation within the group.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a CEO or in a senior executive role within a large event and venue management company or similar.
  • Strong strategic, commercial and financial acumen.
  • Demonstrated success in driving business growth and profitability.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience managing international operations and expansion.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the board and senior management team.
  • Passion for delivering world-class events and services.
